Sunday afternoons are a time for me to ponder. I’ve run across many talented interior designers in the past few years but today Greg Natale comes to the top of the think tank for me. I can’t say enough good things about his designs but they are stunningly bold and utterly brilliant. So today, I thought I’d carve out a few moments and bring you some of his work. Welcome to our Home Tour: Discover this Stunning Modern Contemporary House Designed by Greg Natale.

An Australian interior designer with a penchant for unexpected design

Greg Natale was born and raised in Sydney, Australia, to Italian immigrants who arrived in Australia in the 1950s. Natale took a three-year course in interior design at the Enmore Design Centre at TAFE NSW – Sydney Institute, studied visual arts at Sydney College of the Arts, and architecture at the University of Technology, Sydney

It is blatantly obvious from his color-saturated, pattern-rich spaces, designer Greg Natale is no shrinking violet. His personal tastes are bold, and his air equally so. The designer continues to be one of the design world’s bravest, creating spaces that defy design rules, rev up the impact and make no excuses for out-and-out luxury.

About the House

This pink home is an absolute interior design treasure in the design world. The clients are jewelry designers and they wanted their personalities and passion to be presented in the project. Contrasting this, the space for the residence was originally clean and minimalistic, which is the absolute opposite of the owner’s style, but the perfect starting point for a creative mind.

So without further adieu, let’s take this Home Tour: Discover this Stunning Modern Contemporary House Designed by Greg Natale.

Besides the unusual, exotic, and exclusive combination of tones, this project has a curated selection of amazing pieces. These pieces are from different exclusive brands, transforming this penthouse almost into a design museum. For example, Greg Natale combined some of Jonathan Adler’s furniture, that the couple already had, with some more contemporary brands such as Boca do Lobo’s Dining Table, which takes the stage’s center in the dining room, illuminated by a Kelly Wearstler‘s suspension light and above Greg Natale’s art deco rug.

The final result of this room strongly relays the love of luxury and glamour, for the owners, but also for the interior designer.

The Layered Interior by Greg Natal

This project will appear in Natale’s latest book, The Layered Interior, which is slated to be released later this year. The Norah Suspension lamp over the guest bed is from Delightfull.

Greg Natale stands beside a Jonathan Adler Reform credenza that continues the bold moments of brass against the lively pink Gucci wallpaper background.

I hope you’ve found this house to be as stunning as I think it is. I love bold design choices and the art deco touches that Natale leans towards.
